Wedding Registry Must-Haves & Amazon Favorites

A wedding gift registry is a wonderful feature and gesture for the guests, because people want to buy you gifts to show their love.

Even if you have a fully furnished home, this is a great opportunity to update some of the home necessities to signify this new chapter: your marriage!

Listed are my favorite Amazon go-to’s that have great reviews and items I see on wedding registries all the time.

Let’s get started!

Wedding Registry Must-Haves & Amazon Favorites:

  1. Bedroom basics:

    • 2-4 sets of nice sheets

    • Duvet set

      • My personal favorite is a Linen Duvet. It provides the perfect lived-in look and gets softer over time. This one comes in multiple colors.

      • You can’t go wrong with a Classic Soft-Brushed Duvet. Timeless in every season.

      • Don’t forget the Duvet Insert! This one has multiple season options depending on how hot you sleep or where you live.

    • 4-6 sets of towels

      • I recommend a variety of styles depending on your preference:

    • Laundry hamper

      • My personal favorite laundry hamper is one that is beautiful and multi-functional, helping you organize your clothes by wash type. And it has wheels!

      • Opt for a beautiful woven hamper if it’s out in the open. I recommend this if you do not have the closet space for a hamper… dirty clothes can be made beautiful too.

  2. Kitchen basics:

    • Nonstick cookware

    • Cooking utensils

      • Wood Cooking Utensils are my favorite to use in the kitchen. They are a great option to eliminate use of plastic and potential plastic contamination in your food.

      • Silicone Cooking Utensils are a great non-stick and easy-to-clean option. My husband’s favorite for making eggs and other breakfast foods.

    • Food storage containers

      • These Glass Storage Containers are my personal favorite: they are durable and oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe.

      • If you are going to choose Plastic Food Containers, make sure they are BPA free and dishwasher safe. These are a great option.

    • Serving bowls

      • Make sure you have a Classic White Option on the registry. This one offers a 4-pack in multiple sizes, great for all of your serving and entertaining needs.

      • A Wood Serving Bowl is a must-have option. Great for salads, chips, fruit and more. I use mine all the time for seasonal salads.

    • Glass pitcher

      • This Glass Pitcher is perfect for lemonade in the summer time. It also serves as a beautiful flower vase in a pinch.

      • Include a Glass Pitcher With A Lid and filter to keep bugs out and floating fruit or ice in.

  3. Living space basics:

    • Picture frames

    • Woven baskets of all sizes

      • Large Woven Storage Baskets are perfect for throw blankets, pillows, shoe storage etc. They are a great addition to any space while staying organized.

      • I use these Wicker Baskets With Handles everywhere. They are perfect for the bathroom, linen closet, or open shelving in an office space.

      • Plastic Woven Baskets are perfect to use in your pantry because they are less likely to flake than regular wicker.

      • Don’t forget a Round Wicker Basket, great for holding breads or fruit in the kitchen.

    • Throw blankets

    • Vacuum cleaner

      • The BEST Vacuum cleaner, in my opinion, is the Dyson V8 Animal Cordless Vacuum. I use this daily in my home to clean up small messes and loose pet hair. It’s great on carpet and hard surfaces, and it is incredibly high quality. Definitely a must-have on the registry!

      • A great go-to option for the person who doesn’t like cleaning floors often is a Roomba Robot Vacuum. This one can be controlled from your phone, perfect for pet hair, and makes your cleaning schedule easier.

    • Coffee table tray

      • A Black Round Tray that is non-slip is versatile for any space and easy to clean.

      • This Round Rattan Tray makes for a great coffee table or kitchen addition.

      • A Rectangle Wood Tray with handles not only is beautiful but can also be used for a food or charcuterie board display. I use my wood tray all the time for entertaining purposes.

      • You can’t go wrong with an Oval Wood Tray as it is perfect for the bathroom or kitchen to host your soaps and most used accessories.

  4. Subscription to Grove - get high-quality cleaning supplies for the home shipped right to your door. Register for a gift card or subscription.

  5. Wedding Dress Cleaning Service for after the wedding day. Check your local cleaning services to see if they offer gift cards you can include on your registry.

  6. Items for the guys. Guys don’t care as much about the interior of the household, bedding, and kitchen decor, so choose some fun items for the guest to select. His friends will be thrilled to purchase something just for him!
